Once in a while I’m going to throw together a STUFF post that will be a quick set of links to things that grabbed my interest on the web. This week my attention ranged from fascinating to cool to certifiable photo geek. Check ’em out after the jump and enjoy!

1. This is a fascinating project called “Behind the Photographs” by Tim Mantoani, a portrait project of photographers holding a print of their iconic image. Thanks to Vincent Laforet on his blog for a reminder this week about Mantoani’s work.

2. Geek alert! Here is a an iPhone app for photographers called Strobox that allows you to diagram lighting setups for reference. I played with it a little and  quick review is that the current build is a bit rudimentary and geared towards a studio shooter. Drawbacks are no scalability to set size and for location photographers such as myself, there is no sun icon, which is many times part of my lighting set up. But the app is free, kinda fun and an upgrade over scribbles on a napkin or receipt to get you thinking in the right direction! Get it here at the iTunes app store…

3. There’s sweet little duel raging between the two high schools in my neighborhood that have gone viral with an online video challenge. Shorecrest H.S. busted out their “Hey Ya” video recently and now has gotten a response from Shorewood H.S. with “Shorewood Lip Dub.” These are high school kids rolling out the creativity. Take a look…
